As a husband-and-wife team, we have poured our faith, creativity, culinary experience, and countless hours of hard work into building Chandelier Event Venue, a premier Raleigh wedding venue. This feature means so much to us because it recognizes not only the beauty of our Raleigh wedding venue, but also the real people and story behind it.
Chandelier Event Venue is not a large corporate operation. It is a locally owned Raleigh wedding venue led by Natasha and Executive Chef John Ford, a husband-and-wife team with complementary talents and one shared vision.
Before the chandeliers, elegant draping, chef-led menus, and garden courtyard, there was Fluent N’ Food Catering. We began in 2017 by catering backyard celebrations, private parties, and weddings throughout the Triangle. Every event gave us another opportunity to improve our craft, earn trust, and build meaningful relationships within our community.
Those early years required sacrifice, humility, and perseverance. We worked in fields, backyards, temporary kitchens, and unfamiliar venues, doing whatever was necessary to give every client the best experience possible. Our growth was gradual, honest, and earned one celebration at a time.
Creating a Home for the Chandelier Experience
In 2019, we secured the property that would become Chandelier Event Venue. The building had potential, but bringing our vision to life required a tremendous transformation.
Together, we renovated and reimagined the space with sparkling chandeliers, elegant ceiling draping, ambient uplighting, beautiful flooring, private wedding suites, and thoughtful details throughout. We also transformed the outdoor areas into a romantic garden courtyard and Wisteria Terrace featuring winding wisteria, blooming flowers, a beautiful mimosa tree, market lights, turfed grass, and our charming swing.
What guests see today represents years of continued reinvestment. Since opening, we have completed more than 60 improvements throughout the property, and we continue finding new ways to make Chandelier more beautiful, functional, and memorable.
Resilience, Faith, and a Dream Worth Protecting
Chandelier Event Venue officially opened in October 2019. Only a few months later, the COVID-19 pandemic brought the wedding and event industry to an abrupt halt.

It was an incredibly difficult beginning, but we refused to give up on the dream Yahweh placed in our hearts. We continued working, improving, and believing that the doors would eventually reopen.

Our all-inclusive wedding experience also includes many of the essential details couples would otherwise need to coordinate separately, including elegant china, flatware, glassware, barware, chargers, ceremony chairs, reception chairs, and complimentary décor enhancements.

The culinary experience is one of the most important differences at Chandelier.
As a chef-owned wedding venue, we provide chef-led, on-site wedding catering from our full commercial kitchen. Chef John and our culinary team prepare fresh cuisine just steps away from the ballroom, allowing us to oversee quality, timing, presentation, and service from one location.
Our menus are inspired by flavors from around the world, including authentic Jamaican cuisine, handmade pasta dishes, Latin-inspired selections, and elevated Southern favorites. We do not believe wedding food should be forgettable. We want every menu to become a meaningful part of the celebration because food has the power to bring families, cultures, and communities together.

The Chandelier experience is personal because our involvement is personal.
Chef John oversees the culinary experience, bar operations, landscaping, maintenance, and many of the behind-the-scenes details that keep the venue shining. Natasha guides marketing, communications, staffing, client relationships, and the couple’s experience from their first inquiry through their wedding day.
Our strengths are different, but our purpose is shared: to serve people with excellence and help make one of the most meaningful days of their lives feel beautiful, organized, and cared for.
